Inspiring future
innovators.

STEM Spark Initiative puts hands-on science, tech, engineering, and math into the hands of underserved kids across the greater Philadelphia area, through workshops, mentorship, and community drives, because opportunity shouldn't depend on a family's budget.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Nelson Mandela

Kids gathered around a table running a hands-on STEM experiment with beakers and syringes at a STEM Spark workshop.

“A better future in STEM is possible, and it starts with connection.”

What we've done so far

Real toys. Real kids. Real impact.

Our very first STEM Toy Drive brought in over two thousand dollars' worth of science kits, building sets, and games, then handed them straight to families and classrooms who needed them. It's just the beginning.

Our why

A robotics kit she wished for, but never had.

STEM Spark began with our co-founder Tara, a kid with a huge curiosity and no way to afford the STEM toys she dreamed about. Thousands of students across the greater Philadelphia area are in that exact spot right now.

With thanks to

The partners who make it possible.

We couldn't do this alone. These partners helped turn an idea into real toys in real hands.

Christ First Church

Partners with us to get donated toys to families in the community.

Know a kid who needs a spark? Or have one to give?

Whether it's an hour, a box of books, or a donation, there's a way to plug in.
